A Week of Skincare – Toners

There’s a myth that toners can be drying on the skin. But with today’s technology there is something for everyone. Our favourite ingredients for a toner is rose. Not only is it calming on the skin, but it also contains anti-inflammatory properties. Perfect for inflamed skin conditions such as acne.

Here are our top 5.

  1. Timebomb Complexion Cocktail with a shot of H2Omega £24
I can’t tell you how much we love this product. It’s a toner but not like any other toner you’ve used before. It has a real holiday smell to it. It also glides on like an oil.
  2. Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Toner £8.50
Some toners can really dry out the skin, but this doesn’t. It’s a great preparation for your moisturiser too.
  3. Rodial Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Tonic £33
It’s an instant skin reviver that helps locks in moisture for 24 hours. Love the fact it has rose water in it perfect for sensitive skin. With Vitamin B3 and Zinc it also helps brighten skin.
  4. Strictly Professional Rose Water £4.49
This is an amazing product. 500ml and you can use it as a toner, add it to other ingredients to make a face mask or even add it to your cooking!
    It’s brilliant!
  5. Neal’s Yard Remedies Rehydrating Rose Toner £15.50
Big fan of the roses! Not only is it moisturising, rose also contains anti-inflammatory properties which makes it perfect for calming sensitive skin.
